Before you set out on foot in Downtown, you’ll probably need to put your car somewhere. Some people are a little intimidated by the idea of parking Downtown. But once you know what you’re doing, parking Downtown is simple. |

| Here are just a few tips to help you get parked and get moving with ease: |
| |
| 1. |
After 6 p.m., parking in spots on the street is free. Additionally at 6 p.m., the left lane of Orange Ave. from Robinson St. to Pine St. opens up for free parking. Monday-Thursday only. |
| |
| 2. |
For a quick midday stop Downtown, try a metered spot. Park on Central Blvd. along Lake Eola or in the lot at the old Lynx terminal. |
| |
| 3. |
For a late night out, park for one $4 fee in the Central Blvd. garage between Orange Ave and Garland Ave. |
| |
| 4. |
If you’re heading to Thornton Park, use the Thornton Park Central Garage. And be sure not to leave it in the Thornton Park 7-11 lot while you run into Starbucks, or you’ll likely end up towed. |
| |
| 5. |
If you’re heading to an event in the Orlando Centroplex, make a night of it. Park near Downtown’s bars and restaurants for less, grab dinner or a drink, and take the Lynx Lymmo to and from the game. |
| |
| 6. |
If you spend a lot of time Downtown, a monthly parking pass for one of the city’s lots or garages may be a good option. Call ParkSMART at 407-246-3774 for more info. |
